Hush Hush Seduces, Intoxicates Review

The novel is about a girl named Nora Grey, who for reasons she could not understand; a fallen angel has taken an interest in her. She knows he is dangerous and has a sinking feeling that he wanted to kill her, but at the same time she felt a surge of attraction to him. She knew Patch was bad news, but she didn't know why she trusted him still.

PATCH’S EYES WERE BLACK ORBS.
Taking in everything and giving away nothing.
Not that I wanted to know more about Patch.
Since I hadn’t liked what I’d seen on the surface,
I doubted I’d like what was lurking deep inside.

Only, this wasn’t exactly true. I’d like a lot of
what I’d seen. Long, lean muscles down his arms,
broad but relaxed shoulders, and a smile that was
part playful, part seductive. I was in an uneasy
alliance with myself, trying to ignore what had
started to feel irresistible.

It is said to be a story about a girl trapped in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those who have fallen. From this we can see that it is once again a story concocted with that familiar but delicious mix of normalcy and a tinge of fantasy, which has not yet failed to interest readers. It is the usual trend for a reason after all.

The moment I read the cover, I knew I had to read this book. There was something about seductive angels that attracted me, almost as much as vampires. I always liked novels where the leading men were mysterious and dangerous, and the heroines can't help but fell for them, but who wouldn't? I always had a thing for bad boys.
